Thousands of students across the country will sit for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) starting tomorrow, Monday, 4th May.
This examination marks the end of junior high school and determines the placement of students into senior high schools and technical institutions.
Deputy Education Minister Dr. Clement Apaak has encouraged candidates to remain confident as they begin their papers.
He noted that their previous years of study have provided them with the necessary knowledge to succeed.
He urged students to stay focused, follow all invigilation rules, and put their best effort into every subject.
According to him, the government continues to prioritise education as a key part of national development. He highlighted that the success of these students is essential for the country’s future growth.
Candidates are expected to arrive at their various centers early to ensure a smooth start to the week-long examination period.
Dr. Apaak, who is also the MP for Builsa South, joined in wishing the students well as they take this significant step in their academic lives.
