Veteran Ghanaian actor Fred Nii Amugi attributes his enduring vitality and health to his unwavering devotion to God and his commitment to pursuing activities that bring him joy.

During an interview on the mid-morning drive on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM with host Eddie Ray, the actor shared that he has never ceased worshipping or engaging in the passions that excite him.

Beyond his well-known acting career, Amugi revealed that he is a dedicated chorister.

He explained that when he is not on set, he is typically found singing in church, noting that this balance keeps him grounded.

When asked by the host what has kept him so strong and healthy throughout the years, he replied:”I have never stopped worshipping my God. My faith never dwindles, so far as He lives. And then I just do a lot of things that make me happy. I am a chorister and I am an actor, as you know. So most of the time, if I am not here, I am there. It is all about meeting new people and old acquaintances almost every week. So when we meet, you know what happens.”

Fred Nii Amugi advised individuals to focus on their personal happiness as a primary means of maintaining strength and health, while always acknowledging the importance of faith.

He encouraged others to avoid unnecessary stress and instead lean into the paths that offer them consistent fulfilment, stating:”Don’t stress yourself but rather pursue activities that will make you happy and keep you healthy. Go towards the path that keeps you happy all the time.”
