New Patriotic Party National Chairman aspirant Boakye Agyarko has intensified his campaign with a plea for reconciliation and internal harmony ahead of the 2028 general elections.
During meetings with constituency executives across the Ashanti Region on 7 May 2026, the former Energy Minister argued that reclaiming power hinges on the party’s ability to close ranks and operate as a unified family.
Mr Agyarko maintained that the NPP’s traditional strength lies in mutual respect and loyalty to its founding ideals.
He cautioned that neglect and internal bitterness could jeopardise their electoral prospects.
To address this, he promised an “open-door policy” designed to heal old wounds and restore trust amongst the rank and file.
”I invite anyone who feels let down, marginalised, or unfairly treated by the party to use my leadership as a bridge to return home,” Mr Agyarko declared.
He further pledged to overhaul party structures, enhance member welfare, and deepen grassroots mobilisation.
Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with Mahamudu Bawumia to energise the party’s base through empowering new policies.
