MoH opens admissions portal for 2026/2027 Health Training Programmes

May 19, 2026
MOH-680x350

The Ministry of Health has officially announced the opening of the online admissions portal for public health training institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Prospective students looking to pursue degree, diploma, or certificate programmes can submit their applications starting Wednesday, 20th May 2026 at 10:00 am.

The portal will remain open until Friday, 12th June 2026.

To initiate the process, qualified candidates must purchase an application voucher for GH¢150.00 directly through the official portal at https://healthtraining.gov.gh.

Each purchase generates a unique PIN and serial number required to access and complete the online form. These vouchers will remain valid until 19th June 2026, provided they have not been used.

Applicants are required to provide their personal Ghana Card number, a residential address, a Ghana Post Digital Address, and active contact details, including a phone number and a personal email address.

The ministry has explicitly stated that using another person’s Ghana Card or email address is strictly prohibited.

Because all subsequent updates regarding the application status will be sent exclusively via SMS or email, candidates do not need to provide postage envelopes.

The unique PIN and serial number should also be kept safe, as they will be needed to track the application’s progress.

Following the submission deadline, candidates who meet the entry requirements will be invited to attend a competitive interview at their chosen institution.

The Ministry of Health emphasizes that applicants must complete the form accurately and ensure successful submission, warning that incorrect or incomplete details could affect eligibility.

The official statement was signed by Chief Director Desmond Boateng on behalf of the Minister. Further details and updates can be accessed through the ministry’s official communication channels.
