The Chief Executive Officer of Fenaam Industry Producers of Peeva beverages, Mr Frank Agyei Mensah, has pledged the company’s commitment to supporting sports development by assuring that Peeva is ready to sponsor sporting tournaments and events in Ghana.

In an exclusive interview with Rainbow Radio during the African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra, Mr Frank Mensah expressed that PEEVA is determined to play a major role in the growth of sports in Ghana by investing in competitions at different levels, including regional, national and international events.

Mr Mensah further emphasised that Peeva aims to partner with organisers, federations, and stakeholders to help promote various sporting disciplines.

“As I said earlier, it’s not only Ghana Athletics that we want to associate with, but also everything sports, which could be the Black Stars, Black Queens, Black Starlets, Ghana Premier League and others. So far as it could meet our expectations, we will also support it. Just yesterday, the Ghana Olympics committee reached out to us to support them in the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in Scotland, which is still under discussion at the board level, but I can say that we will continue to sponsor or support the sports fraternity. This will not be the first or last time.”

“So you can imagine if Paul Amoah had won the 200m finals, the whole stadium would be full of joy. We as stakeholders or organisations have to pump in more money for them to train the athletes so we can get more good athletes to win more medals.” – he added

The assurance came at a time when limited funds were released for the events, which were to host Africa in the athletics world.

Ghana hosted the 24th African Senior Athletics Championships in Accra from May 12 to May 17, 2026.
