The Pan-African Parliament has officially petitioned the Ghanaian government to grant ministerial-level privileges to Hon. Dr. Agyeman Rawlings to support her role as Vice President of the continental legislature.

The organization explained that this elevated status inherently commands specific protocols and logistical entitlements required to execute her official duties seamlessly.

The requested package encompasses comprehensive security detail, an official vehicle, state protocol access, dedicated office space, administrative staff, and financial provisions.

“The Pan African Parliament respectfully requests Your Excellency to facilitate the provision of the aforementioned benefits at the national level to Hon. Dr. Agyeman Rawlings, thereby enabling her to effectively fulfill her responsibilities as Vice President,” the letter stated.

In closing its communication, the Pan-African Parliament extended its assurances of its highest esteem and consideration to both the Speaker and the Parliament of Ghana.
