As the Akatsi South Constituency prepares for its upcoming branch elections, constituency secretary hopeful Daniel Agordzetor has issued a passionate appeal to all aspirants, urging them to prioritise party cohesion and mutual respect above political rivalry.

In a goodwill message addressed to the electorate and candidates, Agordzetor emphasized that the internal polls should serve as a mechanism to fortify the party’s foundation rather than divide its ranks.

He noted that the electoral season presents a unique opportunity to renew the collective vision necessary for the party’s long-term success.

“This period should not only be seen as a time of competition but also as an opportunity to strengthen our unity, deepen our commitment, and renew our collective vision for the growth and success of our great party,” Agordzetor stated.

Reflecting on the core responsibilities of political leadership, the secretary aspirant reminded candidates that holding office requires a deep sense of duty toward rank-and-file members. He advised both incumbent executives and first-time contestants to maintain high ethical standards during their campaigns.

“Leadership is fundamentally about service, sacrifice, and dedication to the people we represent,” Agordzetor remarked, adding that all contenders must “conduct themselves with humility, fairness, tolerance, and respect for one another throughout the electoral process.”

To ensure the credibility of the exercise, Agordzetor also directed his attention to the current constituency administrators, calling for a level playing field that protects the democratic rights of every voter.

He urged leadership to institute adequate measures to guarantee peaceful, transparent, free, and fair elections that mirror the party’s core values.

Agordzetor reminded party faithful that internal contests are brief, but the shared mission of the political family remains permanent.

“Regardless of the outcome, let us remember that we remain one family, united by a common purpose and determined to build a stronger and more prosperous future for our party and our constituency,” he said.

GOODWILL MESSAGE TO ALL ASPIRING BRANCH EXECUTIVES

Fellow Party Members,

As we approach our upcoming Branch Elections, I wish to extend my warmest goodwill message to all aspirants seeking various branch executive positions.

This period should not only be seen as a time of competition but also as an opportunity to strengthen our unity, deepen our commitment, and renew our collective vision for the growth and success of our great party.

Leadership is fundamentally about service, sacrifice, and dedication to the people we represent. Whether you are seeking re-election or offering yourself for service for the first time, I encourage all aspirants to conduct themselves with humility, fairness, tolerance, and respect for one another throughout the electoral process.

I also respectfully urge the constituency leadership to ensure that adequate measures are put in place to guarantee peaceful, transparent, free, and fair elections that truly reflect our cherished democratic values.

Regardless of the outcome, let us remember that we remain one family, united by a common purpose and determined to build a stronger and more prosperous future for our party and our constituency.

I wish all aspiring branch executives the very best in their endeavours. May hope, unity, and progress continue to guide us forward.

Signed
