President John Dramani Mahama has highlighted Ghana’s ongoing economic recovery, noting improvements in macroeconomic stability, declining inflation and growing investor confidence.
Speaking at the Muslim Prayers and Thanksgiving Service held at the National Mosque as part of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, the President attributed the progress to prudent economic management, sacrifice and the resilience of the Ghanaian people.
He emphasised that while significant gains have been made, sustained effort and collective commitment remain necessary to ensure inclusive growth and shared prosperity for all citizens.
President Mahama also underscored the need for a national reset anchored on integrity, accountability and responsible leadership.
He urged citizens and public officials alike to reject corruption and embrace their shared responsibility in advancing national development, stressing that meaningful transformation begins with individual action and a commitment to service.
The President further highlighted Ghana’s long-standing tradition of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence, describing the country’s diversity as a source of strength.
He called on Ghanaians to continue fostering unity across religious and ethnic lines, noting that national progress depends on preserving the harmony that binds the nation together.
