The Ministry of Health has announced the commencement of the recruitment process for the 36th batch of medical officers and dentists who have completed their house jobs.

According to an official public announcement issued from Accra, the recruitment portal is scheduled to open on Wednesday, 8th July 2026, at 10:00am.

Eligible applicants, who must be verified by the Medical and Dental Council, are required to formally apply through the ministry’s online portal to select their preferred districts for posting.

Vacancies are available across several key healthcare providers, including the Ghana Health Service (GHS), Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), Ahmadiyya Health Services, and the Mental Health Authority.

The ministry has also extended the application window to individuals from the 34th and 35th batches who previously applied but did not report for duty.

However, officials stated that placement for this group will be strictly limited to their original regions of posting, subject to the availability of vacancies.

Applicants have been given a one-week window to complete their submissions, with the online portal set to close on Wednesday, 15th July 2026, at 6:00pm.

In the statement signed by Frank Raji, Director of General Administration on behalf of the Minister, the ministry emphasized that the recruitment process remains entirely transparent.

Authorities have urged candidates to remain cautious of fraudulent individuals demanding fees for placement assistance, reiterating that no payments should be made at any stage of the process.
