The high-level signing ceremony was attended by key government and military officials from both countries. High-profile dignitaries witnessing the signing included Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Defence, Ernest Brogya Genfi, Chief Director of the Ministry, Emmanuel Kartey, and the Burkina Faso Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency David Kabre.

Also present to underscore the strategic importance of the accord were Ghana’s Chief of the Defence Staff, Lieutenant General William Agyapong, alongside heads of directorates from the Ghana Armed Forces and senior representatives from the Burkinabè delegation.

This defence pact aims to safeguard economic stability across the sub-region, protect critical supply corridors from security threats, and further solidify long-standing bilateral defence ties between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
