Technical staff and senior researchers briefed the Deputy Minister at each stage of the tour, highlighting ongoing laboratory analyses, rigorous quality control protocols, and the processes involved in the development and manufacture of herbal medicinal products.

Interacting with the technical team, Hon. Ayensu-Danquah commended the workforce for their dedication to advancing indigenous scientific research and ensuring the production of safe, high-quality, and effective plant-based treatments.

She emphasised the central role of robust scientific research, strict quality assurance, and modern innovation in fortifying the national health system. She further urged the Centre to maintain high standards to ensure that all locally manufactured herbal medicines consistently meet required safety, quality, and efficacy benchmarks.
