Prof. Duncan warns World leaders against overdependence on AI

The President General of the Centre of Awareness Global Peace Mission, Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan, has cautioned against excessive reliance on Artificial Intelligence (AI), asserting that it offers no long-term future for humanity.

Addressing delegates at the unveiling of “Real Intelligence” (RI), Prof. Duncan explained that AI operates merely on psychic consciousness—the outer self of a human being—whereas true human direction stems from the inner soul.

“We need Artificial Intelligence sometimes, but we should not be overdependent on it. Psychic consciousness does not give mankind a future because it only explores the space around a person and not the space within”, Prof. Samuel Ato Duncan, stated.

While acknowledging the practical utility of modern technology, he stressed that society must strike a balance rather than surrender total control to automated systems.

Prof. Duncan revealed he has appealed directly to the President of Ghana and other global heads of state to integrate Real Intelligence alongside AI. He urged leaders to run both concepts in parallel to safeguard the moral and spiritual future of global governance.
