The Ghana Police Service has issued an official wanted notice for 40-year-old Barbara Asantewaa Kodua, popularly known on social media as ‘ghana jollof’, in connection with alleged offences of inciting violence.
According to security officials, the suspect, who is described as fair in complexion, was last seen on 4 August 2022 at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra. Preliminary investigations suggest that she subsequently fled the country and is currently hiding within the United Kingdom.
The police administration has intensified efforts to track down the suspect and is collaborating with international security agencies to secure her arrest and extradition.
Law enforcement authorities have appealed to members of the general public, both in Ghana and abroad, to provide any credible information regarding her current location.
