The Kwabenya Circuit Court will deliver its decision on September 29 regarding bail applications for six individuals implicated in exporting 3.9 tonnes of cocaine to France.
Defense attorneys renewed their requests for bail on Thursday, September 24, after an earlier refusal.
They argued that their clients—who include logistics business owner Francis Narh Amanor, alleged cargo owner Frank Adu Boahen, and four GRA Customs Division officials (Togbe Agbeti, Andrews Tetteh Amponsah, Daniel Laryea, and Helena Akua Dekyi)—have fully assisted investigators and pose no flight risk.
The defendants face charges of conspiracy and illegal drug exportation. The presiding judge deferred the ruling to Tuesday, September 29, following defense submissions.
