Residents of Nkawkaw Trado in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region have been thrown into a state of shock following the discovery of a man found dead inside a parked vehicle.
The deceased, identified only as Faruk, was discovered lying motionless on the front seat of a blue Matiz car bearing registration number EN 263-23, which was parked directly in front of a residential property in the area.
He was spotted wearing a white singlet when local residents stumbled upon the scene. Distraught onlookers quickly raised an alarm, drawing a crowd to the location before contacting law enforcement.
Officers from the Ghana Police Service subsequently arrived at the scene to assess the situation and initiate preliminary inquiries. The body has since been conveyed to the morgue for preservation and autopsy to help establish the exact cause of death.
Police authorities confirm that investigations are actively ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident, assuring the public that further updates will be communicated as soon as verified information is available.
