A Global Affairs Analyst, Aide to former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, and member of the Board of Trustees for the Obasanjo Presidential Library, has expressed his admiration for Ghanaian local dishes, stating that Ghana boasts some of the finest cuisine in the world.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he commended Ghana for its warm hospitality and conducive business environment.
“I am glad to be here. I am enjoying your banku and dawadawa jollof rice. I am so delighted to be here, and I am enjoying the best of Ghana,” he stated.
Having maintained several investments and visited Ghana frequently over the past five years, he acknowledged that Ghana prepares exceptional jollof rice. However, he declined to settle the longstanding debate over whether Ghana or Nigeria makes the superior version, noting instead that the jollof from each country possesses its own unique and distinct taste.
The governance expert further highlighted that Ghana remains an attractive destination for investors, while urging Nigeria to decisively address its current security challenges if it wishes to drive sustained economic progress.
