The Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed all applicants involved in the 2026 promotion exercise to check the status of their respective applications through its designated portal.
In an official memorandum issued from the GES Headquarters in Accra, Management instructed Regional Directors of Education across the country to ensure the directive is promptly communicated to all eligible applicants within their jurisdictions.
The Service confirmed that the portal will be accessible to candidates from Thursday, 15th October, 2026. Applicants can ascertain their status by visiting the official status checker portal or scanning the dedicated QR code provided on the release.
Regional Directors have been further urged to process the dissemination of the information through appropriate administrative channels to guarantee full compliance within the stipulated timeline.
The directive, signed on behalf of the Director-General by Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access, Dr Munawaru Issahaque, emphasized the urgency of the communication.
“Your usual cooperation and commitment to the successful implementation of the promotion exercise are highly appreciated. Please treat this directive as urgent,” the letter stated.
