President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Antigua and Barbuda to participate in the 2026 Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
The high-level biennial summit of Commonwealth leaders was convened by His Majesty King Charles III.
President Mahama joins other Heads of State and Government from across the Commonwealth for this year’s gathering, which is being held under the overarching theme, “Accelerating Partnership and Investment for a Prosperous Commonwealth.”
During the summit, the Ghanaian leader is scheduled to deliberate with his global counterparts on crucial matters concerning international trade, investment promotion, economic cooperation, and sustainable development.
President Mahama will also hold targeted bilateral discussions with selected Heads of State and Government to strengthen diplomatic relations and advance national interests during his stay in the Caribbean nation.
