Aspiring National Chairman for the governing National Democratic Congress, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, has expressed profound gratitude to constituency executives across the Greater Accra Region following what he described as an overwhelming endorsement of his candidacy.
The former Odododiodio Member of Parliament engaged in high-level engagements with grassroots leaders and prominent party stalwarts throughout the region to lay out his vision for the future of the party.
Speaking after the consultations, Mr Vanderpuye emphasised that his campaign extends beyond personal ambition, framing it as a unified movement to fortify the internal structures of the party ahead of upcoming political engagements.
”I am deeply grateful for the warm reception, the confidence reposed in my candidacy, and the overwhelming endorsement of our shared vision for the NDC,” he stated.
He further underscored the necessity of solidarity among the party rank and file, asserting that the battle for leadership must ultimately serve the collective interest of the party.
“This is not just a campaign; it is a collective commitment to building a stronger, united and more responsive NDC. Together, let us win for a better NDC,” he added.
The meeting forms part of a broader nationwide tour by the veteran politician as he seeks to galvanise support across all regions to secure the top national post within the ruling party.
