The family claimed that the 13-year-old boy was later discovered tied to a teak plantation.

Opanyin Kwame, the boy’s father, said on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that the boy and his friends had gone out to play football but he could not return.

Efforts were made to find him, but he was not found.

According to the father, the incident was later reported to the police.

He told the news team the Police found him tied to the plantation, and it was unclear who did that.

However, when quizzed by the father, the minor claimed he was picked up by a group of people who drove a car in the area.

They first approached him, but he refused to engage them since they were strangers until they allegedly covered his nose with a handkerchief and took him away.

”My son told me the car was white, and they first spoke to him, and he realised one stepped out of the car and covered his nose with the handkerchief, and he only woke up discovering he had been tied to the tree.”

He took advantage of the opportunity to advise parents to be vigilant and attentive to their children.

He stated that the world has changed and that parents must be vigilant to prevent wicked people from kidnapping their children for evil purposes.
