YAFO Institute, an independent public policy think tank with the core aim of promoting libertarian ideas and free enterprise research, has been nominated to participate in the Think Tank Shark Tank Competition at the Africa Liberty Forum in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, by Atlas Network, USA.
The think tank, which conducts its work through public policy debate and advocacy for a free and prosperous society in Ghana, expressed excitement over the selection.
A statement issued by the think tank said the nomination is a testament to its commitment to excellence and our relentless pursuit to advance liberty, free enterprise, and prosperity in Ghana.
The think tank is part of two other think tanks selected from across the world to participate in the competition.
YAFO indicated that participating in the competition aligns with its mission to advance civil liberty through free enterprise research and innovative public policy advocacy for a prosperous society in Ghana.
“Out of numerous esteemed thought leaders, researchers, policy experts and think tank executives in Africa, only three distinguished participants have been selected for this prestigious competition. The YAFO Institute is humbled to be nominated to participate in the 2024 Think Tank Shark Tank Competition with the project “Decentralized Business Empowerment”. The competition will take place at 2024 the annual Africa Liberty Forum in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania from July 11 to 12, 2024.
It will be hosted by Atlas Network, USA, and Liberty Sparks, Tanzania, as Co-host.

This nomination is a testament to our commitment to excellence and our relentless pursuit to advance liberty, free enterprise, and prosperity in Ghana.
The Think Tank Shark Tank Competition gives opportunity to three contestants who each have five minutes to stand before an audience of the world’s top freedom advocates, influencers, supporters, and a panel of judges to pitch their organization’s mission and goals, with five minutes to respond to questions before a panel of judges, the sharks.
