In a bid to boost the beauty industry in Akim Oda, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah, Member of Parliament for the Akim Oda Constituency, has presented 12 hairdryers to fresh graduates of the Ghana Beautician Association (GHABA).
According to the MP, he donated the items as part of efforts aimed at equipping the young beauticians with the necessary tools to kick-start their professional journey.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Hon. Acquah encouraged the graduates to make good use of the equipment and continue to hone their skills in the beauty industry.
He also announced plans by his office to introduce a system that will provide artisans in the constituency with social media education and digital tools to enhance their marketing efforts.
“This is an exciting time for our young beauticians, and I’m confident that with the right support, they will excel in their chosen profession,” said the Hon. Acquah said.
The MP’s initiative is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, as it will empower artisans to effectively market their services and products, thereby increasing their visibility and customer base.
The graduates expressed gratitude to Hon. Acquah for his support and commitment to the development of the beauty industry in Akim Oda.
