Former Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has issued a fierce warning to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to halt the disrespect directed at him, threatening to otherwise deal with the party ruthlessly.

He cautioned the party leadership to tread carefully or risk him exposing their deepest secrets.

This outburst follows accusations from within the party labeling him “bitter” after his defeat in the presidential primary to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

Mr. Agyapong categorically refuted these assertions, stating emphatically that he harbors no bitterness despite the ongoing speculation.

The firebrand politician went berserk after facing a barrage of insults over his recent commentary regarding the Afari Military Hospital.

He had previously argued that the NPP had no moral right to criticize the opposition National Congress Party (NDC) on the matter, pointing out that the NPP failed to complete the hospital despite being in power for eight years, whereas the NDC had only been in office for fifteen months.

Since making those remarks, party officials and loyalists have heavily criticized him, calling his statements false and re-echoing the claims that he is merely bitter.

Reacting to the backlash, a defiant Kennedy Agyapong threatened to reveal every dirty secret within the NPP. Levelling serious corruption allegations, he claimed that certain individuals in the previous administration demanded and accepted bribes before awarding the Agenda 111 hospital contracts.

He reiterated that if the insults and disrespect do not cease immediately, he will blow the whistle on everything.

“They can’t shut me down. If Ghanaians want to know the truth about what I am saying, they should ask them whether they completed any of the Agenda 111 hospitals. They sold the contracts to people and took ten percent kickbacks. The NPP should be careful with me. They claim I am bitter. Who told you that without being elected president, I will not survive?”

He stressed that his primary focus remains a national agenda tailored toward the development of Ghana and its youth, rather than blind political partisanship.
