Public Relations Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Ali Mohammed has expressed his disappointment over the speculations that their game against Accra Great Olympics was a fixed match.
The match week 32 game between Eleven Wonders and Accra Great Olympics ended 1:0 in favour of Eleven Wonders, with several critics claiming that the match was fixed.
Ali Mohammed in an interview with Rainbow Sports hosted by Isaac Walanyo Wallace(kululu man) disputed the assertions describing it as unfortunate.
He insisted the team win the game on merit hence Ghanaians should ignore the comments.
He said people have to check the performance of Eleven Wonders on the day to compare and contrast so they would desist from their assertions.
“Great Olympics has never won any of their home or away matches so I don’t understand why people are calling it a fixed match”.
He also accused some media houses of being sensational in their reportage and creating hate against the team.
Mohammed Ali said they would address the issues after the league is over.
He continued by saying Eleven Wonders don’t want to pay attention to the negative comments, rather they would concentrate on winning their remaining matches.
Eleven Wonders are now in 12th position of the Ghana Premier League table with 39 points hoping to escape relegation.
