Some parts of the capital experienced an earth tremor today, Friday, March 10, 2023.
A statement issued by the Ghana Geological Survey said the event had a magnitude of 2.8 on the Richter scale.
It said the tremor was slightly felt in High Street, Ridge and some parts of Accra Central.
The statement added that these are natural occurrences and therefore difficult to predict.
The Authority said it was committed to continuously monitoring these events and informing the public appropriately to ensure public safety and minimize risk.
