The Acting Communications Manager for Kumasi Asante Kotoko has detailed the circumstances that saw the cancellation of the return leg between his side and Al Hilal in Sudan.
In a statement, David Obeng Nyarko said 7 of their players were alleged to have tested positive for the coronavirus but the results of one of the players, was not presented.
Four officials were alleged to have tested positive following which the team filed a complaint.
The team said it suspected the results were tampered with and did not reflect the true and proper medical grounds.
The team says it has filed an official protest through the Ghana Football Association to CAF.
