Premier League side King Faisal has reported referee Clement Kwame Nkuah and his assistance Gideon Adom to the Ghana Football Association for ignoring a penalty call in their game against Asante Kotoko.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium last Saturday in matchday 32 of the Ghana Premier League.
One of the charges from King Faisal is that the referee allowed Kotoko to equalized King Faisal’s leading goal through an offside goal on the 85th minute by Andy Kumi.
Another charge is that King Faisal had a penalty in the first half of the game when their striker Kwame Peprah was pulled down in the goal area of Kotoko of which the referee didn’t let the penalty stand.
King Faisal’s claims is that the Review Committee of the Ghana Football Association should have a critical review of the game and apply the appropriate sanctions to the referee Kwame Nkoah.
In an interview with Alhaji Karim Grusah, the owner of King Faisal on Rainbow sports he stated that ” some decisions of the referee made King Faisal draw the game against Kotoko so charges have been made against those decisions by the referee”.
