The second vice-president of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA), Abraham Kotei Neequaye, has been elected President of the Authority.
He was declared the winner of the election which, was organised today, Thursday, July 22, 2021, at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
He will hold the position for four years.
He polled 54 votes to beat competition from his contender Henry Manly-Spain, who polled 46 of the total 100 votes cast.
Rabbon Doodo will serve as 1st Vice President and boxing referee Roger Bannor as 2nd Vice President.
Patrick Johnson also retained his position as General Secretary.
Mr. Lord Acquaye was also elected as Treasurer.
Michael NeeQuaye, Shadrack Acquaye, Carl Lokko and Alhaji Toufik were elected as executive members.
