Exactly 9 years ago today, the Republic of Ghana ?? lost our sitting President for the first time ever.
Indeed, the nation mourned, and the pain still rings in the heart of Mother Ghana.
The Atta-Mills Institute continues to fly high the solid legacies of His Excellency President John Evans Atta-Mills – and AMI shall do so unashamedly to the glory of God Almighty.
As already put out by the Institute, we are having no official wreath-laying ceremony at the Asomdwee Park because by the kind courtesy of the Administration of His Excellency President Akufo-Addo, the place is being reconstructed into an edifying state monument – befitting the status of the late President Atta-Mills.

God-willing, next year will mark the 10th anniversary of the passing-on of the late President, and the Atta-Mills Institute is very hopeful that the reconstruction will be completed and President Akufo-Addo will commission the Asomdwee Park to the glory of God and Country.

May the Good Lord continue to keep the soul of John Evans Atta-Mills in His peaceful bosom.
