Former Coach of Berekum Chelsea and Bibiani Gold Stars have revealed that he wasn’t sacked from his position at Bibiani Gold Stars but left the position on his own.
In an interview on Rainbow Sports, the former head coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, Coach Kwabena Amissah, was asked about current his status at Bibiani Gold Stars and His relationship with the Club.
In response to the question posed to him by Isaac Wallace, Coach Amissah started that he was not sacked but left his position because he was exhausted.
“I was not sacked by Babiani Gold Stars. I rather resigned from my position because I was exhausted. I have been working since the Anas expose, and I taught it wise to step aside to have some rest,” he said.
” My contract with Bibiani isn’t exhausted. I still have a contract, but I think Bibiani shouldn’t have asked me to submit any proposal. I taught it wise to rest from my duties because I haven’t rested since Anas exposes. I needed to rest. I am very exhausted, and that is why I rejected their offer,” he added.
He further added that due to his good record with the clubs, he worked with, he has never been sacked.
He also disclosed that Bibiani Gold Stars are indebted to him because he has salary arrears that need to be cleared as well as bonuses.
” Gold Stars are owning me right, but I think it isn’t right to leak such confidential information to the public. For now, it remains confidential only if something happens then I can disclose it,” he stated.
Bibiani based club Bibiani Gold Stars are the currently Champions of the just-ended National Division One League Zone Two(2).
