Ashanti Gold’s Central Defender, Richard Osei Agyemang, says he is not so obsessed with playing for the national team.
Speaking to Rainbow Sports Isaac Worlanyo Wallace, he said he would be glad to play for the national team, but it is not something he wishes to have at all cost.
The player said playing the league to get a call-up is not something he desires.
He noted that there are several priorities for him playing in the league, and should the call-up come, he will embrace it but if it does not, he would not be so bothered.
”I am not playing football intending to play for the national team at all cost. If I get the chance to play for the national team, I will go for it. But it does not, I will not be bothered.
I have a lot of plans and priorities as a player, and I am working on them. If I am called to serve the national team, I will serve my nation.”
