Chief of Adweso fights for what belongs to his people

Adwesohene in the Eastern region who doubles as Mponuahene for Akuapim Traditional Council, Nana Tete Pimpong II is considered about how his paramouncy lost certain royalties due it.

Addressing a durbar at his palace when he led kingmakers to install two new chiefs, Nana Pimpong II noted that since Adweso shares boundary with Koforidua, it has been captured under New Juaben Municipal but they are mostly not involved at the assembly.

Nana Tete Pimpong II used the occasion to outdoor Adweso Reborn.

The Adweso Reborn he says is a yearlong event that is aimed at focusing on development and restructuring systems in the interest of the people.

Adweso Reborn coincides with the 20th Anniversary of Nana Tete Pimpong II as Adwesohene.

He urged to the people of Adweso and beyond that at the launching of the anniversary which is scheduled for 27/12/2021, everyone should contribute towards it to make it a success.

The Adweso Reborn, he says, is expected to bring about new dawn and a new life for all. “Everyone is welcome to help make the Reborn historic”, he called and said, “woka yenhoa nka yepe”(we appreciate you being part of us).
