The Chief Executive Officer for the Kumasi-based King Faisal Alhaji Grusah has slammed the director-general of the National lottery Association Mr. Sammy Awuku.
He slammed him for the recent sponsorship package the NLA gave to Kumasi-based Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.
He made the remarks when he granted an interview with the head of sports of Rainbow Radio Isaac Worlanyo Wallace.
According to him, it was not fair for a government institution to sponsor only the two clubs and described the action as selfish on the part of the director-general.
He advised all the remaining clubs to come together and approach the NLA director to sponsor the remaining clubs.
To him, it would be discriminatory for the NLA to sponsor a club and ignore the rest.
He asserted the sponsorship package must be reviewed to cover all other clubs.
He added that the sponsorship shows an act of discrimination.
