The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) has released funds to Ghana for the 2019 African games.
Treasurer for the Ghana Olympic Committee Mr. Frederick Acheampong confirmed this on Rainbow Sports.
He disclosed that the GOC has received an amount of $102, 000.
But would have to take a look at the accounts and the way forward before the release of money to the various federations.
The Olympic system he explained is cumbersome and any money given you must be accounted for.
He assured the various federations that they would receive their allocations due to them.
He said some of the federations had demanded an update on the funds and the release by ANOCA was a relief to the GOC.
