The senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars will camp in Qatar ahead of the 2021 Cup of Nations in Cameroon next year.
The head coach of the Black Stars, Milovan Rajevac is expected to name his team in the coming weeks before embarking on their training tour to Qatar.
A former player of the team Nii Odartey Lamptey has advised the coach to consider inviting local players to join the squad.
He said the tour was very crucial for the team but want the coach to consider inviting local players.
“The players need to go on the tour because they need to acclimatise themselves with the place before any kick-off if not, we will be losing against teams we can easily score. He also added that should Ghana stay focused in this tournament, we will be bringing home the trophy.
The African Cup of Nations in Cameroon takes off on January 22th 2021 and ends on February 6th, 2022.
