Captain of the Senior National team the Black Stars, Dede Ayew, has described 2021 AFCON as a tough competition but one the team was prepared to win.
The captain said the players are aware the team has been described as an underdog and ruled out of winning.
However, they are prepared to die for the country and make Ghanaians proud.
He said honestly, this is a tough competition. People are seeing us as an underdog. It is part of football”.
Dede Ayew assured Ghanaians that despite that the team has been ruled out in winning, the players are going to sacrifice and win the tournament.
He said, whatever happens, the players are prepared to die on the pitch and play their hearts out.
