The Cape Coast Stadium is to be shut down to sporting activities for the facility to be used for the commemoration of the 2022 6th March parade.
A letter issued by the National Sports Authority said the facility is to be closed to enable exterior and beautification works to be done for the commemoration.
It is also asked the Ghana Football Association to resort to other stadiums for the March 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff qualifier between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
