The Majority leader of parliament Osei-Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has asserted that the quality of Ghanaian players cannot match that of Nigeria’s current national team.
He said on a very good day, the class of the Ghanaian team will not match that of Nigeria but he was optimistic they will perform as they prepare to play Nigeria on the world cup qualifiers.
He was speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm when he was asked to comment on the chances of the national team as they prepare to ay against Nigeria.
He posited that the Nigerian national team has better players ahead of Ghana for which it will be very difficult to compete but Ghana also has one or two players who can also pull surprises.
He described the games between Nigeria and Ghana as games just like that of Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
He added that we need a collective team to win against Nigeria because if we decide to play individual brilliance, they will eliminate us from going to the world cup.
He continued to state that with hard work, we can get a slim win at home and try to draw them away to qualify.
