Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has expressed strong optimism that the Black Stars of Ghana will triumph over Nigeria in the world cup qualifiers’ play-offs.
Addressing Ghanaians ahead of the crucial game slated for Friday, the coach said matches between Ghana and Nigeria are always difficult.
“But we believe in our players and strategies and support of Ghanaians,” he added.
The coach said the team was ready and prepared and aware of the expectation of the team to qualify for Qatar 2022.
He assured Ghanaians that the team was ready and will do their best to qualify because the players, Ghana Football Association, and the technical team are committed to the task of qualifying.
“We are ready to make the nation proud. We are Ghana and have what it takes to come out victorious,” he stressed.
On his part, the technical advisor to the team, Chris Hughton urged Ghanaians to remain calm and positive as we prepare to play Nigeria on Friday.
The technical team he said strongly believes we have the quality, the desire, and the hunger to achieve the results we want.
He was optimistic Ghana has what it takes to qualify for Qatar 2022.
To him, we must make this dream a reality.
“Ghana has done it before and we can guarantee you that everybody associated with the Black Stars wants this opportunity to perform on the world stage.
This moment presents an opportunity for us to make history. The players and technical staff are committed to the task. We value your support. We are Ghana and we are ready.”
