Two female Nigerian nationals have been arrested at the Kumasi Sports stadium aged of Ghana’s qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Reporting from the stadium, Rainbow Radio’s head of sports Isaac Worlanyo Wallace said they were caught selling the tickets to unsuspecting persons.
They are currently in the custody of the Police at the Central Regional Police Command, he added.
Speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said all was set for the game tonight.
Supporters he stated have arrived at the stadium to support the team to triumph over Nigeria.
Information gathered by Rainbowradioonline.com.indicates that over 20,000 tickets have been sold.
The team is expected to book a place at the 2022 World Cup which will be hosted by Qatar.
The first leg of the game will be played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today, Friday, March 24, 2022.
