President Nana Akufo-Addo has promised to give the Senior National Team, the Black Stars a “special package” for booking as place at the Qatar World Cup.
Speaking at the Jubilee House, where he met with the Black Stars the President commended the team for their qualification.
The President said he was happy that the team qualified for the world cup especially on his birthday describing the qualification as “the icing on his cake.”
He assured the players that the bonuses promised them would be paid.
“Everybody is going to be behind you, we are going to give you all the support that we can. The arrangements that they have made with you before are all going to be properly honoured and we’ll make sure that everyone is properly recompensed for what has happened,”
“I myself am organising a special package for you as a token of my appreciation and recognition.”
