A 23-year-old man has allegedly been stabbed to death at Kumawu in the Ashanti Region.
The young man who has been identified as Kofi Tawiah aka Thunder was allegedly stabbed by two young men who claimed he accused them of being armed robbers.
Rainbow Radio gathered that the two suspects who are currently on the run stabbed him multiple times with scissors after they heard he had accused them of stealing goats in the community.
Confirming the incident, the Kumawu District Police Commander, DSP Opoku Agyemang Prempeh suspects, are at large and appealed to the public to assist them with the investigation.
He disclosed that the main suspect who allegedly stabbed Tawiah with the scissors has been identified as Asiedu.
”Tawiah told the suspects to stop stealing in the community. Infuriated by the comments, Asiedu took scissors and stabbed the deceased multiple times. Tawiah was sent to Kumawu hospital but he passed on shortly after the attack. We are investigating the matter. The body is at the morgue awaiting autopsy.”
He described the suspects as notorious criminals adding, that ”the residents would not have told us they were notorious criminals”.
