FC Samatex has announced its decision to present the cup they won at Zone Two to President Akufo-Addo.
The team says the decision to present the cup to the president forms part of efforts to appeal for better and motorable roads in the area.
The team got the nod to play in the Ghana premier league come next season as they topped Zone two of the division one league.
A spokesperson for the team, Nyarko Abronoma, disclosed on Rainbow Sports, in an interview that, FC Samarex, will be presenting the cup they won to the president of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He said the presentation would afford them an opportunity to lobby for better roads in the area.
According to him, others that may play them in the league might struggle to come to the area due to the poor nature of their roads.
”Our plea is to allow the teams that will be driving to Samaboi to get smooth travelling since their roads are not in good condition.”
