Wode Maya, one of Ghana’s top YouTubers, has asked upcoming to stay authentic if they want to have massive followings.
In an interview with Daniel Dadson on Rainbow Entertainment on Rainbow Radio 92.4 (UK) and 87.5Fm (Ghana) disclosed that he has never bought a single view on YouTube.
Wode Maya told the host he grew organically and will show proof of that should anyone challenge his claims.
He advised YouTubers to stay true to themselves and develop compelling, impactful content because it is the only way for them to grow organically.
He admitted that being on YouTube is difficult and generating the numbers is not child’s play.
However, with compelling and impactful stories, the numbers will grow organically.
”Don’t buy views if you are creative on YouTube. As a creator, the most important for you to do is to grow organically. I am still relevant today because I grew organically. So the audience there knows you as one of their own. Being on YouTube is the hardest thing to do.
It is good for any creator to grow organically. I can show you a proof. I have not bought a single view. Always stay authentic. People love authenticity. ”
