Gospel musician from Ghana based in Belgium Bernice Panford, has lamented the difficulties musicians face when promoting their music in Belgium.
According to the musician, promoting songs in Belgium is far more difficult than in Ghana.
She was speaking with Sokoohemaa Kukua on Rainbow Radio 87.5 FM’s mid-morning show.
According to her, she has decided to return to her roots to promote her songs and music career, as this will have a greater impact.
In her opinion, being appreciated at home has the potential to make you known throughout the world where Ghanaians are based.
She stated that promotion in Belgium is difficult because the number of radio stations is limited.
She said that the only station there for Ghanaians is Aseda radio, as opposed to Ghana, which has several radio stations and media houses.
She noted that in Belgium, you either use social media to promote your songs or focus on church tours.
Bernice Panford emphasized that you cannot promote your songs without church tours and social media. However, there are several radio stations in Ghana, and even if you have the resources, you cannot promote your songs. However, even if you have the resources, you will be unable to promote your songs in Belgium due to the limited number of radio stations. This is the distinction between Ghana and Belgium.
