DJ Azonto, a Ghanaian musician, has stated that the outfit he wore to this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards cost more than 20 billion Ghanaian cedis.
The performer, who was nominated for New Artist of the Year, claimed that the suit and accessories he wore were costly.
He claimed that he had to sell his Range Rover in order to spend his money on his appearance.
DJ Azonto stated that the gems he wore were made of genuine diamonds and gold, which contributed to the value he stated.
The “Fa No Fom” hitmaker’s “awkward” way of attire amused red carpet attendees, and he drew the attention of fashion photographers.
When asked what inspired his fashion sense, DJ Azonto, actual name Mark Kwesi Arthur, stated God revealed it to him after 45 days of fasting.
“This has always been my fashion style since I first appeared on the music scene,” he explained in an interview with Sokoohemaa Kukua. “However, this specific style was revealed to me in a dream, and I decided to give it a try.”

“I spent over 20 billion on the VGMA night.” I am pricey, and the attire represents my image. “I had to sell my Range Rover to fund my new look,” he explained.
