Obaapa Christy, a Ghanaian gospel performer, has disclosed that her current single, ‘Let it Go,’ was composed by her husband.
The acclaimed musician stated that she put a lot of time and work into the song before it was produced and launched.
“Let It Go” features soulful vocals and classic gospel instruments.
The musician offered a strong message about forgiveness and letting go of past hurts.
She said on Rainbow Radio 97.5Fm’s mid-morning show with host, Sokoohemaa Kukua, “holding on to the past could hurt and depress you.” “No matter what happened, you should let it go,” the musician advised.
She stated that the song’s lyrics encourage music fans to let go of their wrath and resentment and accept forgiveness, just like Christ did.
“The message of “Let It Go” is one of forgiveness.” It’s a timely message in a world where many individuals are dealing with sentiments of rage and animosity towards others. We must forgive and forget each other.
The song is strong and moving, emphasising the significance of forgiveness and letting go. It’s a wonderful and upbeat gospel song with an essential message. Most importantly, it was written by my husband and,” she stated emphatically.
The musician has worked in the profession for many years.
