The Ministry of Interior has declared June 28, 2023, to be a statutory public holiday.
The day will be observed as Eid-ul-Adha, according to a press statement signed by Interior Minister Ambrose Dery.
This was stated in a press release on Tuesday, June 20.
“The general public is hereby informed that Wednesday, 28th June 2023 which marks Eid-ul-Adha, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country,” the statement said.
Eid ul Adha is a Muslim festival celebrated around the world to commemorate the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.) out of his strong faith in Allah.
