Gospel musician Ohemaa Mercy has revealed that her ex-husband’s decision to attend the Tehillah launch this year was one of the surprises for her at the time.
She described it as unexpected because she had no idea he would be attending the event.
She said this in an interview on Rainbow Radio’s mid-morning show, on Thursday, July 27, 2023.
Speaking to host Sokoohemaa Kukua, Ohemaa Mercy stated that the ex-husband had made significant contributions to the success of Tehillah.
She praised him for his contributions to the growth and success of the Tehillah Experience in the years since its inception.
Although we are divorced, Mr Twum-Ampofo still supports the event now and then when the need arises, she added.
”He actually surprised me this year. He surprised me so much because I had no idea he would be at the launch. It was one of the surprising moments for me at the time.”
This year’s edition, dubbed ‘Fire and Fragrance,’ will feature renowned gospel musicians including S.K. Frimpong, Ceccy Twum, Diana Hamilton, Kofi Osei Peprah, and Uncle Ato.
The event is slated for Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Oil Dome, Royalhouse Chapel International.
Ohemaa Mercy stressed that the ex-husband held the mantle and helped raise the altar together with others for Tehillah; hence, he deserved to be appreciated.
