Host of Peace FM’s Entertainment Review show, Kwasi Aboagye, has reacted to claims made by event organizer Alodia that he has been begging him for a UK ticket for the past two years.
Alodia, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Music Awards UK, in an interview with Rainbow Radio UK, berated Kwasi Aboagye for saying he could not afford to pay Shatta Wale €80,000 for a performance.
“Kwasi Aboagye has been chasing me over the last two years to buy a ticket for him to come to the UK. But I refused because I knew he had no good intentions for me,” Alordia claimed.
He went ahead to say, how can Kwasi Aboagye make such a comment when he has been on his neck to get him a UK ticket for the past two years?
Reacting to this, Kwasi Aboagye said he never asked for a UK ticket, but it was Alodia himself who told him he would send him a ticket to attend the event.
“On one of the occasions, he came to ask for an interview, and he promised me that he would invite me to attend the Ghana Music Award in the UK, so I should send my details to him. I already had a UK visa for ten years.”
“So, I told him I did not need a visa, and he told me he would pay for my ticket. So, don’t come out and claim that I have been begging and following you for a ticket.”
“If you claim I have been following you for a ticket for two years, for what? Because I have a ten-year UK visa, and I have been going there already,” he said on Peace FM.
